All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts.

Classroom antics get more and more hilarious by the day
Without Quah today so I sat with (left to right) Hazel, Kellyn, Lavania, Caroline, Sarah Jane and Joanne. I was on the extreme left. Anyways, during accounts, me and Caroline were explaining a question to Joanne.
C: (really slowly) It is a 'ten years later' dishonoured 'five years later' cheque.
J proceeds to hit her, and then me for laughing.
And then me and Lavania were contemplating about the dreaded maths class.
L: Just say we didn't bring it
S: He'll kill me. It'll be my 2nd time this week that I didn't bring it.
quite funny really cuz we kept thinking of excuses to tell him when he asked to see our maths booklets.
Anyways, first 1 and a half periods were literature. And it was a test. Not to worry, our 'not in her right mind' teacher decided to give us the question paper on tuesday so that we could prepare. How kind of her.
But after the literature test was the analysis of Joy Luck Club. After those 2 periods, what do we have? We have the ever so boring and annoying Accounts. For 2 whole bloody periods. My right hand was so dead. If only I was ambidextrous. One can only hope.
Then during malay, cikgu Z forgot to tell us to bring our malay books thus we spent the entire lesson talking about an underwater hotel. Yes, you read that right. It's going to be in Fiji. She showed us pictures and I swear, it looked amazing! Enchanting almost.
Then maths. Maths. The mere word sends shivers down my spine. Here's what happened:
Mr F proceeds to return the maths test.
L: Fail
S: Fail
L: Woo Hoo
Then he calls the entire class up, row by row, ( I happen to be in the 2nd row) and examines our booklets and test. After seeing my failure for the umpteenth time, he tells me:
Mr F: Sherry, you have a lot of potential. You just have to try harder. Do more questions and practice. You are quite strong in your humanties and in JC, you have to take a contrasting course which will be either science or mathematics. So do work harder Sherry. I know you can do it. Your humanities is strong, it would be a shame to see you lose out.
S: Erm..... Okay.....
Can't you just hear the thoughts running through my brilliant mind?
I'll admit, I hate maths thus I don't work for it. I love history! I love literature! I love english!
But maths, nope. No love for that particularly disdaining subject.
Look on the bright side my young one once told me.
I shall.
I'm going to be in the UK for 2 weeks! Woo Hoo!
But first, mid-years and malay 'O's. Oh well.
I could always drown my sorrows in an english boy.

Tis a sad daySo, today had its ups and downs. But malay class took the cake. Farah is so damn bloody scared of ghosts and what not. It was hilarious. Good thing too, cause we really needed it. Anyways, Gabby and I kept scaring poor Farah. I laughed so hard when she ran out of the malay classroom when I turned off the lights. God, that was funny. You should have seen the expression on her face,Don't worry Farah, we all still love you! lol.Bow. Curtsey. The Queen has spoken.

A hundred days have made me olderSince the last time that I saw your pretty faceA thousand lies have made me colderAnd I don’t think I can look at this the sameCan you imagine? All those students went to school as if it were any other normal day. Then, they hear gunshots. They watch their friends and professors being killed.Right before their eyes.A world full of killingAnd blood spillingProfessor Librescu, was a holocaust survivor.Dies while protecting his students.Barricade the doorway as his students escaped. Blocked it with his body. One of his students tried to pull him away. But he refused to budge. And he saved his students. But he couldn't save himself. He had a huge affection for his students and he sacrificed his life for them. And they sayThat a hero could save usI'm not gonna stand here and waitI'll hold onto the wings of the eaglesAnother student, blocks the door with a large table. His quick-thinking saves the lives of 11 people.Including himself. When darkness turns to lightThe legal age to get a gun is 12 with parental supervision.Video games get more violent with every technological advancement.7-year-olds are playing games that teach them how to kill others.Movies, Tv Shows, show violence at every turn. All these thoughts locked insideNow you’re the first to knowIn England, teenagers are getting killed.Teenage gangs and violence are the reasons. Now, the worst school massacre in history. Before this, it was Columbine High School.12 students and a teacher were killed before the 2 shooters killed themselves. Now the Virginia Tech Massacre will remain in history. As one of the worst school massacres ever with 33 people dead. The dead cannot cry out for justice; it is a duty of the living to do so for themOh you've comeSo far from where you startedDon't be afraid To let your lightShine on the world

And when the last one falls
When it’s all said and doneRIPAll the victims of the horrible massacre at Virginia Tech.
The miles just keep rolling
As the people leave their way to say hello
I've heard this life is overrated
But I hope that it gets better as we go
